Narrative artwork inspired by the natural world

My work explores woodland animals and natural spaces through narrative imagery painted on wood. Using acrylic, watercolor, and pyrography (wood burning), I create layered compositions rich in texture, color, and intricate detail.

Working on wood is central to my process, allowing the grain and natural markings to shape each composition. Through altered color palettes and moody light, the paintings encourage curiosity and reflection, suggesting deeper stories unfolding within each scene.
